Chile had a bit of everything—mountains, city life, the beach, even vineyards all within reach. I went up into the Andes, and being that high up, surrounded by snow and silence, felt like a completely different world from the cities below. Santiago sat right at the base of it all, blending busy streets with mountain views. Valparaíso was raw and full of energy, with steep hills and murals around every corner. Viña del Mar slowed things down, with beaches, palm trees, and a more laid-back vibe. Every place felt different, but it all fit together.
One country—but it felt like five.
